Given that I am linking this website from my Copperstrings account, I thought I better write a proper about page to explain what this site is all about.
Welcome to this ‘Plog’, a bastardiasation of the concept of a blog, where instead of writing my work in a blog I write poetry. I already have a blog at www.chrisgower.co.uk, but this is more like an online notebook. The poems here are not published, they are often just ideas or even half baked thoughts or expressions and emotions expressed in a poetic form. The proper ‘poems’ will end up in other places and in other formats. One day, if I get anywhere with my poetry I’ll construct a proper website with poetry and stuff.
In an attempt to get my work out to a wider audience, I have decided to record some of them. This can be found in the recordings page. I expect most of them are going to be done through YouTube as that seems to be the easiest way of getting material out.

Where does this public mode of composition stand wrt competitions, many of which have rules forbidding entry of work already published? Or do you not bother w. competitions?
